Decades: A Music Journey Through Time
2nd Generation Music for our 5th Annual Spotlight Show: DECADES — an unforgettable musical journey through the greatest and most influential songs of the last 80 years.
From the 1950s to today, our students will bring iconic music to life through live band performances, vocals, narration, dance, and storytelling. More than a recital, Decades explores how music shapes culture, connects generations, and continues to inspire the world around us.
Throughout the evening, audiences will experience timeless songs that defined generations and discover the stories behind the music — why these songs mattered then, and why they still matter today.
At 2nd Generation Music, our mission is to cultivate creativity, collaboration, confidence, and excellence through accessible music education and meaningful artistic experiences. We believe music is more than entertainment — it is legacy, community, and a powerful tool for connection and expression.
Summer Vocal Star Intensive (Youth)
This fun and confidence-building summer program is designed for children who love to sing, perform, and express themselves creatively. Students will develop vocal skills, stage presence, self-expression, songwriting, and performance confidence — all while playing fun music games and making new friends.
Summer Music Jam
This summer, students will have the opportunity to learn piano, drums, or ukulele in a fun, creative, and encouraging environment. Our classes are designed to help young musicians build confidence, develop musical skills, and enjoy the excitement of learning songs they can actually play.
